Getting Here:
From
Carlisle - Follow the
A69 past the Corbridge turnoff until you reach Brocksbushes
roundabout. At
Brocksbushes roundabout take the 3rd exit and join the A68
southbound. After 1 1/2 miles you will
reach the Broomhaugh roundabout. At the Broomhaugh roundabout
take the first exit and join the
A695. Follow the A695 or approximately 4 miles through the
villages of Stocksfield and Mickley until
you reach Prudhoe.
From
Newcastle - Follow the
west road out of Newcastle city centre and join the A69. Stay on
the A69
for approximately 7 miles and exit at the Wylam turnoff. Follow
the road signs to Ovingham and cross
the narrow road bridge before crossing the railway level
crossing at Prudhoe station. Take the second
exit at the roundabout and continue up the steep hill for about
3/4 mile until you reach the traffic
lights at Prudhoe town centre.

- Prudhoe is on the main bus route between Newcastle and
Hexham (service 602)
or Low Prudhoe and Newcastle (service 604). |

By Rail - The nearest
railway station is Low Prudhoe (approximately 3/4 mile
from town
centre) which is on the Tyne Valley line running between
Carlisle and Newcastle. There is
a regular bus service (service 604) between the railway
station and Prudhoe town centre. |
