Hi, Local photographer Rachel is on the quest for the
good of the town. I am trying to get a preservation order on
the back lane of Neal Street (the cobble area). Has anyone
got any pics I can copy for this purpose? I am trying to
preserve the beautiful nstone wall and the cobbled street
prior to any development proposal. No matter how irrelevant
you think it is, as long as the lane can be seen in photo
I'm interested. Also any pics of Johnny Bells lonnen from
bygone days, the hedgerow pre dates 1846 ordnance survey
map. Please email or call in at the studio 2-9pm most week

Young Enterprise are a charity that provides educational
programmes to students aged 4 to 24. They are aimed at
citizenship, enterprise and innovation. We currently have a
series of primary programmes planned at Prudhoe Castle first
school and have been unable to find volunteers to work with
us. The time commitment is 1 hour a week for 5 weeks and all
equipment is supplied by YE. If anyone is able to help out

Please can somebody inform me as to who is responsible
for the upkeep of the Prudhoe Badger as I was disappointed
today when I passed it with some visitors to the area. It
looks very dull. Not a great advert for Prudhoe. |

I'm trying to make contact with old mates who attended
Prudhoe school in these years. I've been in South Africa
since 1951 when my late father Bob was transferred from ICI.
I Cannot recall too much about the town except that we lived
in 16 Broomhill and that my Mom worked at Shillings (?)
Bakery. I also have prize books for attending Prudhoe Parish
Church - what is it today? I'll answer all correspondence
